An evening with GIPSY KINGS - SUNDAY, JULY 4th at 7:30 PM

evenko and the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal are  pleased to  announce that the flamboyant Gipsy Kings will take centre stage at the Bell Centre Theatre on July 4th.

The Gipsy Kings are largely responsible for bringing the joyful sounds of progressive pop-oriented flamenco to the world. The band started out in Arles, a village in southern France during the '70s.

The triumph of the Gipsy Kings is revealed most vividly through a telling myriad of charts, awards, reviews, and sold-out appearances. Since the phenomenal debut of Gipsy Kings in 1988 (Top Ten in over a dozen countries, receiving fifteen Gold and Platinum records), their ensuing albums have provided a steady fuel of hits to Billboard's World Music.
