HEAVY MTL - ALL THE DETAILS ABOUT THE SECOND EDITION!

Gillett Entertainment Group is ready to tear the lid off HEAVY MTL 2010: here are all the details you need to know about this summer’s most explosive event! Brace yourselves for a festival that will unite top metal and hard rock bands from around the world with die-hard fans, giving Montreal an event that stands in league of its own on a national scale.  

THE BANDS

We’ve already told you that Saturday, July 24th would welcome the incredible MEGADETH, SLAYER, and TESTAMENT, but we also said there was much more to come. Holding true, HEAVY MTL is thrilled to announce that the legendary ALICE COOPER as well as MASTODON, ANVIL, FEAR FACTORY, and KATAKLYSM will all be joining the festival on the very same day!

Fans that bring their ringing eardrums back to Parc Jean-Drapeau on Sunday, July 25th can expect a second day that shows no signs of letting up. Already joining forces with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival to bring you the likes of KORN, ROB ZOMBIE, LAMB OF GOD, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, HATEBREED and more, HEAVY MTL will also be announcing several additional acts for both days in the coming weeks as we fill out our weekend of top-notch music.

THE TICKETS

HEAVY MTL 2010 will offer a number of ticketing options, giving fans the choice to experience the festival on their own terms. SINGLE DAY tickets will be $67.50, while those looking to get the most volume for their buck (no less than 18 hours worth!) can purchase a WEEKEND PASS for only $119.50.

*MONTREAL CANADIAN CARNAGE TICKET HOLDERS have two options at their disposal. These fans can retain their current tickets and they will be honoured with no additional fees for the entirety of Day 1 at HEAVY MTL 2010. Alternatively, in recognition of their patience, organizers are thrilled to announce that we will offer Montreal Canadian Carnage ticket holders a chance to upgrade their tickets and purchase a weekend pass for only $100!* This special weekend pass offer will be valid until April 5, 2010.   

The festival is also making a very limited number of RESERVED SEATING WEEKEND PASSES available for $179.50. These tickets will grant access to grandstands with a first-rate view of the main stage as well as exclusive concessions and restrooms.
