As the best selling chant artist of all time, Krishna Das has sold more than 300,000 records, and continues to engage enthusiastic audiences in sold out concert halls around the world.  He has been recording his popular and much-beloved CDs of devotional Indian chants since 1996 as a sharing of his lifetime spiritual journey, especially the practices of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of devotion—and to kirtan—call-and-response chanting of the divine names.

With each album and kirtan Krishna Das brings something unique to his interpretations of this Indian devotional tradition. His most recent release, Heart Full of Soul, recorded live in Los Angeles, is a two-disc set of favorite chants that deeply transports the listener into the experience of a Krishna Das kirtan. Over the years KD has been joined in the studio and on stage by many of his fans from the global music community.  He was joined by Sting on Pilgrim Heart, he worked with famed producer Rick Rubin on Door of Faith and Breath of the Heart (which includes a 50-person kirtan choir including Beastie Boy Mike D), and on All One he was joined by Walter Becker of Steely Dan.
